Nindigo's Sims

  My dear Bianca...your arms look so...strong. My sweet Bianca....you look so...ferocious.

 I have never explored the witch related gameplay in The Sims 3 much. So, I'm going to this time with little Brittany Bertiger. And perhaps someone else... Ready. Set. Go! Can you spot her? Wow! Did you know that she has already maxed out her broom riding skill? Way to go, Bree :) She has also managed to befriend little Gator Wolff here, a werewolf cub who is part of the most influential pack in Moonlight Falls. Martin is an acquaintance of Gator's father who is in politics and at war with the van Gould vampire patriarch. Martin fortunately isn't political. The 'someone else'. Bianca Crumplebottom has clearly been chatting with a magic makeover mirror. She looks very pretty, but that attire there is too hot on this summer day. Martin decided to risk everything and declare his feelings for Bianca. Now, he is very glad he did!

 Brittany Bertiger (BB) found a rocking horsey and decided to have som fun before turning into a teenager. Yeehaw! What a good horsey. There's the bandit! Let's get 'em! Readying the lasso... Throwing it! Caught 'em! Ha-hah! Success!! Sheriff BB got the bandit and saved Moonlight Falls.

 The Bertigers went to go fishing in the weekend while I waited for the game to get to Sunday morning. When that happens, I will enable Seasons and NRaas Story Progression, so that Brittany can become a teenager and actually be able to use her skills as a witch. Which I look forward to. Martin loves his apple tree, as it reminds him of the apple of his eye - his daughter, Brittany. Brittany rocking away at The Toadstool while Martin attempts to accomplish his wish for a Smack-A-Gnome highscore. Zooming towards the fishing pond to meet up with dad. Poor Brittany. She is longing for a meal, but with static needs doesn't need it. Well, aren't you ugly... Well, aren't you small... Well, you look just right. Peace, love, and harmony.

 So, Martin accepted Rainflower's date invitation and it took him the most unromantic place - just outside the bookshop and spa. And Rick Durwood stood there, overseeing things. Really, Rainflower? Next, Rick Durwood decided to make himself the third wheel and engaged in conversation with Rainflower while Martin just stood there awkwardly. I was thoroughly upset on Martin's behalf and thought perhaps I could take Rainflower somewhere more private, so I clicked on Rainflower. The pie menu displayed the option for Martin to 'join group'...what the heck? I thought he and Rainflower WAS the group. I was done and sent Martin home to do some gardening instead and then on to skilling up. Some days later, Brittany threw her first party which was a blast. She invited all of her guests to dance first then and then Martin served her favorite food, peanut butter and jelly, for everyone. Brittany got just about the best party rating possible.  Rainflower Ivy, a family man and accomplished musician, is a very special resident of Moonlight Falls. He is special because he is pre-scripted to be bisexual. Today, I noticed him and his wife, Annalove Ivy, at the park where they had a falling out. His wife wanted to either amorously hug or embrace him to which he thanked no. Later, at sunset, I found them down at the beach. Martin had been to the fitness center not too far away, and was I wanting him to look for rocks on the beach, as I know some spawn there. So, I had him introduce himself to Rainflower who was just standing oddly around. And what do you know? Little hearts started to flutter about both of their heads. Instant attraction. I thought this was cute, so I wanted to share. Martin is a domestic vampire. He was probably not born one.   The beautiful sunset.

 One thing I love about The Sims 3 is that Sims will tell their own story if you just let them and observe instead of control. Of course, I direct my Sims to do various tasks now and then, but while they perform them and in between, they form their own personality and make some decisions on their own. For instance, I can't decide who my Sim finds attractive. Attraction is important to my way of enjoying the game. I don't pair up Sims who don't feel attracted to one another. And yes, all of my inbred Alvis feel attracted to their spouses and/or lovers. VJ and Miraj, too. Sometimes, I have to place a pair in the game over and over before attraction occurs. The degree of Sim autonomy is something I decide for each save. When I play one or two Sims, I often like to play with no autonomy. But when it comes to bigger families, they are granted full autonomy. Like my Alvi dynasty - that save is purely Sim-run and dynamic needs and boy, does it provide for a lot of entertainment. W

 Martin Bertiger has befriended the witch, Bianca Crumplebottom. But they may become more than friends one day. Indeed it was a little bit awkward between them when they met at the vampire lounge. Please don't bite me.
